Located on the Waterfront of Deep Creek Harbour in Newport News, Virginia, our banquet facility offers the perfect setting for any special occasion. The indoor facility includes a luxury reception room and full kitchen. Overlooking the water for your entertaining, we can accommodate up to 120 people inside and outside our facility and 80 people inside our facility.
We also have a Bridal Suite available — spend your special day getting ready in our bridal suite. Complete with champagne bucket, mini-fridge, make-up mirror, bridal suite decor, and your own bathroom.

Keffer Hall Rental Packages
Here at Keffer Hall, we strive to provide every client with the amenities that will make their event comfortable and pleasurable. That’s why we have created customized packages to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. Every package tier includes circle, buffet and cocktail tables, chairs, mobile custom bar, unlimited ice, a full kitchen and wet bar for your catering needs, security to assist with parking, and outdoor café style heaters as needed. Our in-season weekend rates also include 2 bottles of champagne for the bridal suite. For indoor events, Keffer Hall accommodates up to 80 people. For indoor/outdoor the facility accommodates up to 120 people. Our waterfront view speaks for itself and is sure to make a dramatic backdrop for any occasion. Our single day, an inclusive rental package is designed specifically for those who are looking for an easy way to gather their loved ones and who may not need any additional time set aside for facility set up. Our in-season rate (April-November) is $2,750 (Saturday), $2,400 (Sunday) or $2,000 (Friday) and you have access to the facility and bridal suite on the day of your event from 9am until 10pm. Our off-season rate (December-March) is $1,950 (Saturday) or $1,350 (Friday or Sunday).
We have many people who reserve our space during the week (Monday-Thursday) to host corporate events, club meetings, weddings, or to teach classes. We recognize the importance of providing a centrally located, upscale environment for these types of events and we are proud to provide them for your use. Our rate (Monday-Thursday) is $550 for use of the facility from 9am until 10pm. If you would like to add the bridal suite, it is an additional $250. If you are looking for a two-day package, it is an additional $275 and you receive the facility from 10am to 5pm for the additional day for set-up.
*All of our packages include the use of the facility amenities, circle, buffet and cocktail tables, chairs, mobile custom bar, unlimited ice for your event, security, 2 bottles of champagne for bridal suite (in-season weekend rates only) and processing of contract. A security deposit of $250 is required for all bookings and will be returned within two business weeks pending management approval. The security deposit will be refunded if there are no damages to the facility and bridal suite or does not require excessive cleaning.
*A completed contract and payment of half or the total rental fee (rental fee + security deposit) is required to book a date. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the event.
*You are responsible for returning the premises in a clean and sanitary condition and in good repair. If you do not wish to clean after your event, we do offer cleaning services for your event. The cost is $300 and is due 60 days prior to your event date.
